US Airways Joins Centurion Airport Lounge Program
Two posts in one week, I need to slow down. I did just get this email, which I am very excited about, that US Airways has now been added to list of Airport Lounges in the Centurion program. This is great for me because I live 10 minutes from a US Airways hub and I fly them almost exclusively (but I like Delta more). Here is a copy of the email I received.

Not a Centurion benefit.
Many other american express cards have this, and not just a special thing for black cards.
Even though not a Centurion benefit, every added lounge is a nice benefit. We do need more exclusive benefits. Some ideas include:
A box at the Met Opera, with preference for weekend usage to non-New Yorkers; how about a way to get foreign currency in $3-10,000 amount, for a REASONABLE fee, delivered to your home; more first class 2-for-1 airline ticket options, maybe even business 2-for-1 with upgrade to first if it remains unsold close to travel date. I am sure that members would appreciate all these options.
Took a recent Tauck tour through Centurion Travel. I would suggest you always check carefully what you book. I thought it was a river cruise, it was a bus tour with a 2 hour river cruise. For those who like bus tours, I am sure it was okay. For me, not what I would choose.
Hi,
Going off the subject…..Im from the UK, I am a cardholder of the BROWN Harrods American Express Card. Has anyone heard about it before? It looks like the Standard gold, plat and cent cards
If you would like info on it or pics just let me know.
Hugh, That would be neat to see. I’ve heard only a little about this card and would love to see a photo of it. If you’re still interested in sharing it try taking one or two photos and sending them to the admin.
And silence for nearly a year. Maybe he really has been eaten by a bear this time. An envious bear who didn’t qualify for a titanium credit card of course.

Nice post, we’ll excuse the old information because you’ve been away for 8 months…
But this announcement of US Airways lounges was made quite some time ago.
The Amex website was even updated a month or two ago (and they notoriously take months to update their website benefits).
Also - this isn’t a Centurion benefit.
It’s an Amex lounge program benefit, which is for all qualifying cards (including platinum, business, cent, etc).
Kind of like saying there’s a special benefit for Centurion cardholders called “Gold Card Events” (which are ticketmaster tickets for anyone gold and above - including obviously centurion)…
