Thought Your Annual Fee Was Gandfathered in?
Many longtime Centurion cardholders, people who had the cards before the annual fee increase went from $1k to $2.5K/year, thought they were grandfathered in at $1k a year. Well, guess again. Several members have notified me that as their statements are starting to roll in over the last month or so, and they’re up for annual renewal, the fee is showing $2.5k this time. Anyone else running into the same problem? It appears it is not a glitch, and they are actually raising the rates for all the old members.

Just got my bill and have the issue with the renewal rate changing from $1k to $2.5K. Anyone have any luck getting grandfathered? Already received all the upgranded travel perks for another year so thinking on dumping the card at this rate.
Wow I did not know that , I am a platinum card holder I’m only 20 years old and my uncle is a centurion card holder we are in the real estate business. Anyway my uncle was recently telling me that the initial fee of $5000 is now $10,000 but I don’t know if thats true for the new centurion card holders I’m soon to be one and I think that’s a little too much!!!
