So You’ve Spent $250K, What Do You Do Now?
I get emailed this question fairly often, “I’ve spent the $250,000 required for the Centurion card, how do I apply for it?”. It is a pretty simple answer. If you have a platinum card, you can call the concierge number on the back of your card and then ask to speak to a Centurion CSR (customer service rep), call a general amex number and see if they will put you through, or you can call 1-800-297-3333, which should be the centurion concierge. They should be able to get you in the right place. Once you call in and they verify you have met the 250k/yr spending requirement, they will do a financial background check, and assuming you pass, you should have your card in 4-7 days. I have even heard they can overnight it to you, if you want it that desperately.

Umm if you call the Concierge Service they will tell you to call the other AMEX Number on the back of your card since the Concierge is outsourced
is it a 250/k requirement just on one card or can the amount be reached through the aggregate spending of all your amex cards?
My understanding is that it is aggregate across personal, aggregate across business, but corporate cards don’t count
I can confirm Admin’s info as I talked to a centurion rep about this a few days ago. All cards (business or private) connected to your account, i.e. not corporate cards.
The “financial background check” is a simple credit report pull. You can’t just spend $250K and get the Centurion if you’re in debt up to your eyeballs, or if you have a not-so-stellar credit history.
Is this also the case for the UK, I have a platinum and usually spend around £10,000 a month but am getting NO joy at all, keep getting told stuff like:
a, Centurioe is being relaunched
b, We only invite new pople when someone gives their card up
c, Invitation only
blah blah blah
any ideas or advice please

I thought the card was by invitation only. But it turns out I don’t have to wait to be invited. I guess it’s time for me to start working on 250k/y requirement
