People With Black Cards
There are roughly 17,000 people who are Centurion card holders, and since American Express is not going to release that list, it will be very difficult to determine who has one and which celebrities are on that list. Many of these card holders are on Wall Street and other financial services abroad. Our list here at Amex-Black.com will be a celebrity list and we’re going to attempt to keep it as current as possible. If anyone reading this knows of celebrities not on the list please leave their name and some sort of proof in the comments and they will be added.

I work at Walgreens in Spring, TX. My store is in a middle class area of town. Imaging my surprise when a customer paid for his script today in the drive thru with one. Not a flashy card, no one famous. Pretty heavy card!!! Been in retail 16 years and have worked in 2 high class areas and have never seen one!!
Had a customer pay with one yesterday on two pcs of Briggs & Riley luggage. Seen maybe 3 Black Cards, mostly just in the last year. It appeared to be a heavy plastic, thicker than any other card.
I’m in the Austin, Tx area.
He was just walking by, walked out spending $700.
I WORK AT CVS–FOR 2 YEARS AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I SAW A BLACK CARD, A CUSTOMER GAVE IT TO ME FOR A PURCHASE OF $85.00–I JUST STARTED TO SHAKE A COULD’T STOP—I WAS SO NERVOUS I FELT LIKE I WAS GOING TO HAVE A NERVOUS BREAK DOWN –I HAVE NEVER BEEN THE SAME SINCE, I WONDER WHO THAT GUY WAS !!
I have seen about 3 or 4. But I work in a high end area, even though I just work for Target. And yes, they are extremely heavy. I was in shock the first time I actually held it. It’s definitely something you don’t see everyday.
I work at a high end electronic store. The other day this lady came in and bought 3 $800 phones and other items totaling about $3000. And she pulled out this Black Amex and as soon when she gave it to me i thought she gave me her money clip or sumthing because i wasnt looking at it and it was pretty heavy.
Before i even looked at the card my eye was caught on her diamond ring. I would say that was a diamond pebble lol. That thing was huge. But after looking at the card and extremely mesmerized by it,while i was checking out the card by hearing the sound it made when hit on various objects and stuff, i told her that was an amazing card and i might change my Amex Blue to that, she just snickered as i put all her stuff in a box and left. When she snickered i knew there was something about that card. After a few moments, I went outside to check out what she was driving and i saw her paying this driver valet parking fee for her Bentley!
And thats when i googled for this card!
I work at bank as small business banker and i had this customer NORMAL looking not rich type…when i asked for ID for to look up his info..he pulled Black AMX…i stared to looking at card ( i havent seen it before) and than i asked him is it Black AMX .he was like ” yeahh” with smile…. than we started talking about the card and he told me about it how he got it.. after he left i checked on his profile and he was COO of mid side electronic manf company ..wasnt that big company and i was surprised that he had that card…but he was very nice man
I am a Amex Black Card holder since 2007. I never wait on any lines going into the most elite night spots in NYC and always get a dinner resv. whereever I feel like dining. It’s a nice match with my rolex when heading out for a night on the town….
You have a nice site but what about Chris Shaw in High Point ,NC he used his card all the time in the chop house and tip well one night he came in with a group of people and tip me 700.00 with his Black card he is one of our very best customer. He is in the entertainment business I seen on TV at the BET AWARDS.
Hi just found this page. My dad had an amex black card and i asked him to get me 1 and he laught at me saying you wish. nw i wondering cause im his son can i get one, lol. he was a right show off with it frm the same day he had it.
