Other AMEX Cards

This is a list of other available AMEX cards. Since not everyone can have or wants the black card, it is best to choose a card that fits your needs. You can click on the apply link (where available) to go directly to the American Express Application to apply for the card. I will break it down to personal and business. It will take me a few days to get all the different cards up, bear with me.

[...] Other AMEX Cards [...]

As a American Express Platinum Card member,
I found your website quiet interesting and humourous.
I don’t know whether I would pay the fee to obtain the “BLACK CARD”, just to show that I was a “RICH BASTARD”… lol
I don’t find that the benefits are any different from the Platinum Card.
BUT!, other people might argue in saying……….” WHY NOT?
Looking forward in reading your future commentaries,
Best regards,
J Lopez

there are many benefits with amex black. u get many more ladies if u can flash with this card. ladies go for money, thats what this card is for.

gus is right - reportedly this was one action attracting now Princess Mary of Denmark to Prince Frederick when they met in a bar in The Rocks, in Sydney.

Interesting website.. While the Platinum card is a wonderful product, it is no-where close to the benefits of a BLACK CARD, PERIOD!! For those Platinum CM’s that said they were familar they just are privy to the facts. One of the many benefits - Personal Concierge>>

HAVE THE BLUE BUT LOOKING 4 THE BLACK.

There is also a Amex (Red) card that donates 1% of what you spend to help fight AIDS. Unfortunately it’s only available in the UK now. Link below….

with the centurion card, anyone can get one. five years heavy use. move up the ranks, ie gold charge card (must be a charge card) , then get invited to platinium, within 9 month invited to centurion. However, the highest level is the charter member centurion. thats the one i want. give it time i suppose.

Maybe you can add this to your “other” Amex Cards available…got this a few years back - the Amex “Butterfly” Gold Card.

What is the amount you must spend on youre amex platinum to get a Centurion? Any one that knows?

250k in a rolling 12 month period

Ok is it 250k to get the black business? Or is it same for business and personal?

Got a mail invite for a new card from AmEx/Delta. It’s called Delta Reserve. The features look good: free concierge services, free Crown Room Club access, miles and MQMs with good boosts, free annual domestic companion certificate for a First-Class or Coach-Class ticket.
It costs $450 a year. Every additional card $175. Currently, I carry Platinum Delta SkyMiles AmEx.
An annual membership in Crown Room Club costs $400 or $30 for a one-day pass.

I’m currently working my way towards the black card, but wouldn’t use it to “pull in women.” That’s just pathetic in my mind. That’s just attracting them to your $. Anyone that flocks towards a person with money’s just a gold digger. Driving a lux car, I justify. 1st class travel, I definitely justify since I’m on the road 30 weeks of the year.
Clothes are definitely justifiable on spending for self-confidence….but flaunting the card to TRY to attract women? That’s just terrible.
I know a bunch of people with the black card, and from the “celebrity” list, I’ve dealt with a good amount of those people during business, in the club, radio events, etc….and most people have told me the upgrades and everything are cool…to have one…it’s cool.. but to flaunt it…but to me, showcasing the card around all over the place is basically picking up a hooker than only wants you for your $.

Amex is awesome………but how good of a credit u have to have to get one, I work were ppl use amex everyday and its amazing the type of respect they’re shown just by having an amex card

You need excellent credit, and impeccable credit standing with American Express. There are a ton of benefits that are not mentioned on this website besides a personal portfolio manager. It is the longest listed feature card American Express offers! Requiring a revolving $250,000 spending per year and at least 1 year as an American Express card member on any American Express or OPEN account. Platinum Card is the best card you can apply for if you want 3/4 of the benefits of the Centurion Card.

It’s nice card to dream about.

Sign on fee $5000
Basic card is $2500
Additional is $1500 each
Platinum add $175 for 3
Gold add $45 for 5

You might get more ladies but you’ll find they are very shallow indeed and will make a large dent in your bank balance.
