New Weekly Series - Spotlight On A Reader

I am going to be starting a new weekly series on here called spotlight on a reader. My intention is to profile a reader of the site, who is also a centurion cardholder, describe their spending habits and what they do for a living. I have the first several spotlights lined up, but will need more. If you would be willing to be in the series, you can leave a comment here or you can email me at info [at] blackcardsource [dot] com. Or if a reader knows someone who might be willing, then you can drop me their contact info too.

I have a lot questions already prepared, but if there are particular things, in addition to pictures, that my loyal readers would like to know (that means your eddie), leave your questions in the comments below and I will make sure to add them.

Also, I have been thinking about making the move from my Blue Cash card, to applying for a platinum card. Think I should do it?

Lol, thank you admin. for mentioning me and for the new idea; awesome! So, the platinum card? Might as well go for it in my opinion. I have been pre-approved for it many times and just recently received another pre-approval mail offer from them, my beloved AMEX. It included the fake platinum card, a list of benefits and a page where all I do is simply sign and provide my s.s. number and return. I would do it in a heartbeat but I am still uneasy about the $450.00 annual fee; Even though I KNOW it is worth it when you use that card’s benefits/advantages. For now I will stick with my trusty, $120.00 annual rewards gold card and $0.00 annual optima platinum credit card. Enough about me, the point is, if you are ready to pay the $450.00 then try it and see what happens…you can apply for it at americanexpress.com or call; I think the number is 1-800 the card? Also, I was told by a representative and read about it plenty of times that using your platinum card a lot in the first year with large purchases gets the black card closer and closer to you. Just think admin if you use your new plat. card, (assuming you are approved for it), you may be a Centurion card member sooner than you think!!!
