Interactive Black Card Benefits Guide
Ever wanted to see the benefits of a black card in an interactive, downloadable application? If so I have just the link for you. The other day I stumbled across a thread on a Credit Card Forum that had a link to a download of an interactive Centurion benefits guide (I checked it for viruses, it’s good). It is pretty interesting, I had never seen this before, it is definitely worth the look.

yea i scanned it like 5 times before opening it with various programs. very interesting file. just re-affirms my want for this card! only thing i find odd is that Amex partners with Northwest Airlines only for the Airport Lounges, but dosent offer any FF membership bonus(atleast none i saw)
I spoke with US Air today (dec. 6, 2008) and they said they are no longer affiliated with amex centurion. can someone please comment on when this occurred, and which airlines are still affiliated?
im 99% sure they are, they arent a MR partner but you should still get the regular centurion perks (FF status)
He’s been posting this on other websites too (about US Air).
There is no truth to this.
Nothing wrong with Cent Benefits on US Air; Nobody at US Airways “said they are no longer affiliated with amex centurion” (sic.).
Why do people just make things up?
I’m the one who gave it to the admin at the forum in question. I got that off a thumb drive I purchased on ebay that was included with the Centurion Card. The thumb drive was labled “Centurion 2007″. It has a MAC version on it as well, but I only sent the PC version since I figured that was what most people are on anyway. I just wanted to add my $.02 just in case anyone was wondering where it came from and how old it is. It is as updated as the program was a year ago, and to my knowledge not much has changed in that time.
If you want a new benefits guide, just call card services and they will be more than happy to send one to you.

I checked out the file in a virtual machine and ran it through IDAPro to see what it was doing when executed. No malware, no viruses, nothing to prove it came from AMEX either… unless someone has other proof it’s official. It is safe to run however.
*WARNING*
You should *NEVER* download and run binary (.EXE) files that you aren’t sure about, especially random EXE’s from forums that claim to be something. If it was linked from the AMEX site itself then that’s one thing.
Even though this is safe, please people be smart! Don’t run strange programs!
