Any Readers With A Black Card?
I have received a lot of comments and emails from people who have read the blog saying they are Centurion members. Some people have confirmed (mostly), or denied (based on their geographic region, since the card/rewards do vary) details listed here about the elusive Black Card. Since there appears to be so many readers who claim to be Centurion cardholders, let’s see’em.
If any readers would care to send in pictures of themselves with their cards please email them to [info at blackcardsource dot com] with the subject line “AMEX Black Card Pictures”. At a minimum, please blur/white/black out the account number of the card before you send it to me (I don’t want to be in a position of having your card number). Covering anything else is at your discretion. Sending in some action shots or shots with big receipts would be welcome too. I will post the pictures I receive here on the site.
The first submission comes from Mr. Noland Nelson, a hedge fund manager from LA. He has been a cardholder since 2005, as seen on the card, and says he spends about $2M a year on the card.

Our second submission comes from another reader on the site, “NYBlackCard”. He doesn’t give many details other than his special message for the reader above who also sent in his black card. You can also see he is reading this site in the background.
Our third submission comes from a guy who owns a Forensic Accounting staffing firm. He sent in pictures of his black card and one of his Centurion bills. He says he is very pleased with the card, especially the travel benefits, usually spends 30-50K a month on the card, and even used it to buy the Bentley in the picture below.
The picture below comes from James, another one of the readers of the site. He says he has been a cardmember since 1986, a Centurion member for “a few years”, and charges about 30-40K a month to his personal card. He said awhile back, his card number was stolen in South America, and American Express sent a package to mail his old card back to him so they could melt it down (interesting, this is new to me). James also offered a piece of advice, if you pay your income taxes with your card, you can get points, transfer them to a frequent flyer account, and fly business class for free.
The latest submission comes from Chris who didn’t offer much information except the picture below, which shows off all of his AMEX Business cards. Seems Chris has quite a few of them, including the Gold, Platinum, and Centurion Business cards. I don’t see the new Plum Business card though, maybe you should get that one too. Also, Chris was sneaky and sent it to my personal email address that I didn’t post on the site, I’ll just assume he looked at the site’s whois record.
Update 1/16/08
Remy, who owns a Dental practice in South Florida, sent in some pictures of his black card and the Bentley he bought on the card. He says he also owns 2 Rolls Royces, 2 small planes, and a second Bentley. You know what I say to that? I say, step your game up. I have a G5 Jet. What now? Exactly.

NYBlackCard,
You are missing the point. This site is just promoting the benefts of the card. If you think spending $2m a year on the card is an exaggeration I doubt you really have a card at all. I put everything on the card from my sons tuition at USC ($45000 per year) to client dinners, parties, travel, hotels, etc. Spending $150,000-$200,000 a month is really not that hard. Even my mortgage at Indymac bank in Pasadena has partnered with AMEX so you can pay your mortgage with The Card ($24,556). You won’t find me on Google because I only manage a hedge fund on the Euro Markets. Just because you can’t find me publicaly does not mean anything. I am just a small fish in the overall wealth of this industry.
Best of Luck…….
Noland
I completely agree… I run well over $200k on my card on an average month and you’re not going to find me on Google. In the world I run in, I’m a pretty small fish. Seven-figure incomes may seem unreal in your neighborhood but in mine they’re the norm.
Noland,
I have emailed a pic of my black card to the admin of this site to post as proof that, despite your doubts, I do have one.
[edited by Admin to prevent a "flame war" between members]
Best of luck…..
Carlson,
Glad to see fish of the same size can swim together. Thanks for backing me up. NYBlackcard…..glad to see you have a card (although you can buy them on ebay). Like I stated earlier, you don’t need to be on Google to have this card. No ill-will toward you at all my friend…..I just bite back when people question my honesty. I have nothing to hide. Like Carlson said, “seven figure incomes are the norm in our industry.” There are kids half my age that make 10 times the amount I make on Wall Street.
Take Care…….
Noland
I only spent about 20 to 35K per year on my platinum card. I’ve been doing this since 2000, mostly for business related items. I am a small business owner, that operates a auto towing business in the Baltimore-D.C. area. My wife also has a platinum card she use’s for another 10-15K per year. Imagine my astonishment when I recieved an e-mail from american express asking if I wanted to upgrade to Centurion. My wife is balking at me accepting the offer due to the high fee’s involved. I will probably stay with platinum, but I am never the less flattered!!! The moral of the story is you dont always have to spend a lot, but paying early on the charges does help. It also helps to have a savings account with Ameriprise, and a line of credit on the platinum card that also gets paid early. Happy Holidays to all! Wayne
The last submission is a fake. The gold color of the card metal and the graphic of the centurion is flat not etched like in the other card shots.
Fake if I ever saw one.
Here is the auction for the fake Gold meta colored “Titanium” black card. As you can see the font and etched metal is different from the real cards.
After reading the first response…it reminds me how the world is directed into thinking that the only people with money are searchable on google, or a celebrity; it just proves the ignorance of many. Yes there are celebrities and other searchable on google, but most of corporate America isn’t.
My father got the black card back when you needed an invitation, and he isn’t findable either anywhere on the internet. Maybe his company but not him individually. I’ve been working with him for ten years now and just received my first black card. I’m only 24, i share an account with my father…together we spend on the card, maybe 800000 to 1.5m a year, but we also don’t put all of our charges on the card.
We also don’t flaunt our sh*t, nor use the benefits offered by the card…like most people with money, we are normal people who made it from the bottom. NYBACKCARD whoever u are, u are a f**king idiot-dont ever post on the internet again…i swear whoever reads your posts……their IQ’s will be lowered after reading what your retarded mind came up with!
Hi all, Go back and look at the Centurion card photo “Wayne” submitted; currently it’s the most recent one. **Before I go on let me say for the record that I am not doubting or disbelieveing what Wayne says**, but the card in this photo looks EXATLY like the promo/fake centurion cards. Notice how the lettering and border are gold in color, not the current silver like in the other photos. And look at the lack of detail on the centurion head (in the middle of the card) compared to the other amex card photos. Besides, I know exactly what a real centurion card looks like and what the promo/fakes do… trust me, I’ve seen both in person. Now, Wayne might’ve received this card in the mail as a promo, which would make perfect sense and go with what he’s saying.
Wayne, just to clarify, can you send a new pic of the real card since you now upgraded to Centurion? (Just put your thumb over your last name and blur out the account numbers if you’re concerned with privacy.) Take care all.
Yep Jason, I just read your posts, exactly what I was saying too. Hopefully Wayne can submit a new photo of his real card with his name on it and with this website in the background for verification. Otherwise he is a fake. Period. We’ll see what happens…
how Facinating.
i work in high end retail, and googled amex centurion card after seeing about three today… i really had no idea that they were so rare.
that last one, though, doesn’t look anything like the ones i see. and damn, i see a lot of them.
As an FYI to readers, Wayne, the one with the supposed “fake” AMEX has asked for his card to be taken down.
It’s not “supposedly fake” compare it with all over black cards on the internet, compare to the few that are on ebay, you’ll quickly realize that his supposedly “fake” black card is indeed a fake black card. We’re not making this up here, there is proof.
My comment was not to say I thought it wasn’t fake, but to point out that once people said it was a fake, he emailed me and asked me to take it down. I am not saying it wasn’t fake.
Noland, you are egotistical, self centered moron. I have a Centurion Card and I don’t need to come on here to flaunt it to some blogger. Seriously you need to get a life. No really.
Ken,
Egotistical…yes, self centered moron…perhaps. Rich…absolutley. I Buy and Sell people like you…all day long. By the way….who’s the moron….you had to google this blog and read all the submissions to find me…Now go make me a sandwich you pee-on!
Jokes on Noland Nelson actually, I noticed on his picture he only blacked out the first set of numbers, then blurred out (but you can still read) the second set of numbers, and then covered the last 4 set of numbers.
Noland,
The first set of numbers are the same on ALL centurion cards, look at the other pictures, the first set is the vendor id number, so American Express Plat cards all have the same first set of numbers, and the centurion number is 3717, always, on all centurion cards, so blocking that out is useless as it is not the unique identification number for your card.
The middle numbers are the beginning of your account number, your number, even though you blurred it out, is still legible and is:
xxxxxx or xxxxxx, anyways now I have most of your card number
3717 xxxxxx
Exp 07/xx
The last set of numbers is only 5 digits, and can easily be figured out through brute force techniques. Instead of having to brute force all 11 digits of your account number on your card, you’ve published publicly on a blog the first 6 numbers of that account number. You’ve more than halved the time it would take for someone to figure out the last part of your card number.
If I were you Noland, I would actually request American Express to void that number and get a new card. I’m honestly saying this because you don’t know who has read this blog and a lot of ID thieves out there just looking for opportunities like this.
I doubt you’ve seen any charges yet, but better to be safe than sorry now that the information and picture is forever in google cache/archive.org and on the internet in general.
Just my 2cents.
- Jason
To protect Noland I have upload a new image that covers the #’s based on the above commenter’s information and I have edited the above comment to protect mentions of Noland’s number. However, Jason provides a good warning to people. Thanks.
Jason,
Thanks so much for the information regarding my Centurion Card. I guess I just assumed I was protected. We need more bloggers like you. Thanks again……Noland
Noland,
while this may be off topic, how exactly did you get your start on wall street? Just look at this as….a question from a young man who aspires one day to be in your shoes, or atleast…shoes that are filled with the same amount of money.
Dave,
Got my start in ‘92 at Goldman Sachs right out of college. Great training program. Worked in the Chicago area. I was in debt $80,000 (USC) from college loans and had a baby on the way with my new wife……basically flat broke. I made a ‘killing’ by finding the most successful banker at my firm….introducing myself and doing everything he did. Associate yourself with smart people and follow their lead. Today I run a hedge fund on the Euro Markets out of Los Angeles with a mid size firm. Best of Luck!
Noland
Thanks for the advice, I aspire to be where you are but I see you worked very hard to get there. Hopefully I do one day.
-Dave
Oh, another question…what type of degree did you graduate with? I have no one in my family or that I know that I can ask these questions and I have no clue what to major in.
This has gotten absurd. I found out Noland is not what he says he is. I sent information to the admin on this that shows he is an employee at a mortgage company. I emailed Noland at his job and at his home address calling him out on his BS. I also found out his mortgage info was all a lie as I saw his closing costs on his house which is modest to say the least.
Admin, at least let your community see that Noland is a fraud. I gave you all the info and proof that almost everything he has said is a lie.
NBC
I don’t remember receiving anything in email from you in regards to this. I do remember a comment posted a while back, but I had to edit it due to some of the language I believe.
If Noland is not who he says he is, then he isn’t who he says he is. The internet is serious business, for real son.
Admin: lolz for serious business comment.
Noland: your black card is *real* so.. hey you spent 250k a year at some point, good for you
NYBlackCard: you have one too.. there is plenty of room for you two relatively and apparently wealthy people in this world. Calm down.
I’m still staring at my black card invite stuff…
NYBlackcard,
You truly have no life. As the Admin said….he never received anything from you. Are you kidding me? The information you said you had is impossible to get. You don’t have my address because I never would post something like that. You never emailed me because you don’t have my email info at home or work. My mortgage info is a lie? $24,556 a month is what I pay to Indymac….I’ll post a coupon on this site as well to shut you up. How do you live with yourself…..I have never met more of a hater than you. Don’t be jealous NYC…..would you like me to post my W2? Good idea….I just sent a copy of my W2 to the Admin to post to show my salary well into the seven figures. Now don’t be sad when your blackballed from this blog….grow up!
Noland
Noland why would you send any info like that to prove anything? Honestly your both crazy (Noland you not as much).
Also I always did wonder.. and I’m serious.. why do people with clearly millions of dollars get mortgages? Would it not make total sense to buy a property in cash?

Well if you really want a black card just photo shop the image and send it in to Capitol One where they will upoad any image on your credit card for free. Bang you got your self a black card, half the people in Hollywood can’t tell the difference if the little capitol one and Mastercard symbol are chillen on the side of the card. As long as its black, got the Centurion logo and says American Express your good to go!
Real or fake, i think anyone here who feels hate toward Noland is upset that he has something you don’t, aka jealous. Whether its a cover faking you out or the real to be your pissed meter is peddeged. On another note who gives a shh it. But if you ask what I think, It’s a gold with a cover… and regardless if your already rich, why wouldnt you want to get/look richer. Either way you term it as; “If you got it flaunt it” / “Fake it til you make it!!!’

My 18 year old son is a Centurion black card member. I cannot/will not post a photo but will say I get a kick out of shopping with him. As soon as it is handed to a sales associate, waitress etc. it prompts a reaction due to the weight of the card. Often they will take quite some time to return with it. Sometimes showing it around to other employees or trying to determine whether it is a legit card. He almost always get “Is this daddys card?” He responds with a simply “yep” as anything else opens a big door to “what do you do for a living, are you a millionaire, how can I get one” and he being a private person would rather not oblige.
Interesting website. Not sure yet if it’s about promoting benefits of AMEX cards or bragging about Centurion card. I’ll browse some more here to determine that. Anyhow, I have a small business ($13M/year in revenue), AMEX member from 2004. I’ve had basically all possible AMEX cards issued since 2004 (clear, business green, platinum, etc.) I currently have 7 active cards. I’m paying everything within a month (monthly charges $200-400K, depending on the business - I pay my vendors with AMEX.) I was offered Centurion card a year ago, but I didn’t sign up. I couldn’t justify paying $2,500 a year for the benefits they are offering. I didn’t tell my wife about it until later though, I must admit. Otherwise she would make me sign up for it - she likes this kind of stuff.
The best card I’ve ever had is the Plum Card. I pay everything within 10 days and earn an extra $4-8K a month for doing that. Doesn’t sound like a lot, but it adds up ($48-96K a year.) I don’t know, maybe I’m an old-fashioned and just don’t like showing off with the titanium-made card, or simply don’t care about the status. Probably second. Most of my friends don’t even know how much I make - I like it. This way we are all on the same level.
you guys should pay for my education. its 9k a year. or at least give an art grant so i can make films. ha
you know how visa cards there are different first 4 digits to every bank, it is similar to american express or is it random
3732 - Gold business
3727 - Jet Blue
3717 - Black
Anyone have any other ones?
Hey you guys need to help me out. im struggling to pay my tuition for my med school. Im not a business guy, I believe in education thats why im pushing it to the edge. Instead of bragging about black card, think about the students that have a bachelor degree but working at a calling center and still have to repay the private student loans with an average of 6-10% interest. email me doctorjay10@yahoo.com. Im an aspire anesthesiologist if you help this generation out, we will also invest in the future generation.
Oh my god, jonathan-give us all a break. You are no better than the begger standing on the corner. Accept the negitive dollars while you are in school because you know damn well the big dollars are coming. Shame on you.
I just have to point something out to you guys -
I just logged on to this site to have a look at what the card actually looks like - my boss has one but I’ve only ever seen him whack it out quickly to pay for things and have never had a good look at it.
Do you know how stupid some of you sound here? It’s great if you have the card - some of us can only wish for it. But, even if you don’t and your telling everyone you do - guys, let him have his dream. Don’t chastise him, it’s not worth it - if you have it, you know it, and that should be enough.
I totally agree with A J. Some of u really need to get a life. You have the card then good for you, you don’t have it no big deal.
im 18 years old and was just recently aprroved for the Platnium, its a sweet feeling knowing that paying your BMW bills, your cell phone bills, and traveling fee’s early really pay off,, just hope that i dont go ape and go over board like my brother who is 45000 in debt like a retard. but oh well
i dont get why it is such a big deal to have a blcack card. i mean it is just a card. anyone who brags about having one is an idiot.
Haha, all that money spent and not a penny on the less fortunate. I drive a Toyota Corolla GT (the old one from the 80’s) and the difference between that and a Bentley could feed a third world nation. No one needs a Bentley, nevertheless two. Sometimes people have more money than brains.
Its his money to spend on anything he damn well pleases. I say good for him———A Bentley minus A Toyota Corolla GT does not equal food for a third world country. Some people have no brains and no money.
Hi There,
I am a American Express cards collector from the Netherlands, I am still looking for nice cards to make my collection bigger. PLEASE, I COLECT ALL THIS KIND OF STUFF!!
THANKS
PS: ADD MY MYSPACE
Just happened on this site. I do not have an AmEx card, but a very close friend has had a black Centurion card since 1998. The unsolicited card package was delivered to his office by courier while I was visiting. He had no idea what it was or why it was delivered to him. He is not a big spender and seldom used his personal gold AmEx card. Since 1998, he has used the Centurion card solely for the purchase of air fare, usually economy, sometimes business, never first. He claims that he has never had an AmEx monthly statement that exceeded $5000 and his statements usually average $1500-2000 per month. He has since obtained an associate Centurion card for his eldest son - for vanity purposes only. Why was he selected to receive the Centurion card? From what we have been able to determine, it was solely because he shares the rather unique family name of one of the wealthiest men in the Middle East - a distant cousin whom he has not met.
Can I just say that this is the STUPIDEST sight EVERRRRRRR. Oh my goodness. Who even cares if you have a black, gold, silver, green, purple, orange, yellow card. I mean REALLY???? I am a graduate student with an MTVU card and freak out when my bill nears $500 for the month. So seriously, seriously? I just can’t comprehend how stupid this is. You guys should worry more about things that mean something–war, racism, education, our plummitting economy (eh, low-blow, I know), and not about stupid frivolties–Bentleys, $800 gazillion jets, etc.!!!!!!
I am a card member however I am not a Black Card holder yet.
Does anyone have an American Express Centurion promo card or a canceled card that I could have or purchase. I am looking for two to use in the third installment of the One Crazy Night movies. The first two are currently available on Amazon. Unfortunately these movies are not Hollywood big budget films, they are more like early John Waters movies. If they were big budget I am sure finding props like this probably wouldn’t be this challenging. Any assistance you may be able to offer is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
London Hilton
There is a lot of hate flying around here. I myself am not “RICH” but in running a restaurant I have met quite a few people with black cards. None of them have ever acted this childish or flaunted their cash. Good job guys. If I had that much cash beating of into a c-note in front of a computer would be the last thing you would catch me doing.
I have read up on the Black card before as I spend right around the minimum required to have one (250K per year) on my Amex Plum. I was wondering why anyone charging 2 million a year would use the Black rather than getting another 40K a year in cash back on the PLUM plus pay the $2500 yearly? Yes I understand the card has the ability to make topless dancers gather at the local nude club but honestly I’d rather have the 40k a year. Yes I like women but you could keep a spare one in her own place on 40k a year!
Does anyone use any benefits on the black that are not available on the Platinum or Plum? Am I missing something or is it just the “I have one and you don’t” factor?
JustMe
Poor white trash with no Bentley!
I was wondering if anyone had the “promo” version of the card sent out by Amex. I was looking to buy one. All the ones I can find on eBay are fakes. My friend has a real promo card and I know what I am looking for.
Thanks
I wonder how many of you (and/or your aficionado ego-support team) realize the unmitigated greed singularly personified in this instrument. There are benefits to it- reserved seating, all-access schmooze festival velvet rope bourgeois status-climbing events, to name a few– sure, that’s a thought and if you didn’t get enough of the nipple as a li’l one I completely understand the need for incessant coddling and unending stroking of the ill-fated ego. But really- if you require so much maintenance and sense of separation from those that have to actually wipe their own ass, perhaps you have bigger problems than the lack of fizz in your bubbly at 35,000 feet.
Oh- how’s your portfolio doing in the hands of equally egocentric money managers?
Hey Noland, this thread may be old but I’m a current student at USC and was wondering what you did to be so successful. Also you said your son goes here, whats his name and year maybe I know him. Just a curious trojan who aspires to be great like you.
Wow, I cant believe you guys, your acting like children over a stupid credit card that you have to use as a status symbol because your insecure about yourself. And honestly, why do you need a black card? Just to say you have one and try to impress people. In my opinion, its stupid, why get something that cost $2500 a year when you can get another business card that cost near nothing to have? They serve the same purpose. And by the way, when you act like that, all showing off and stuff, people don’t like it, they find it annoying.
Well first of all, the insecurity of these individuals who claim to have black cards is quite frankly hilarious to me. Do you really have to boast to such an extent? Comon I’m 16 years old and both of my parents have black cards. What is the big deal? I know I’m rich but money is not the end of the world. My father is a cardiac surgeon and my mother is a neurosurgeon. Let me give you a dose of your own medicine. My parents each pull in 7 figures EASYYYYYYY and probably make 8 figures combined annually representing the highest social class in America. Tell me being a doctor isn’t the most prestigious job in the nation. Check this out- guess what my first car was? A 2009 Mercedes S550!! And the recession must have hurt all your conceited wall street individuals. Well 2 bad there are always unhealthy sick people which equates to more money for my parents. HAHAHAH. Do any of you have a house that is 8,000 sq ft?? That’s right!!! All of you just got owned by a 16 yr old richboy. Cya
I must agree with last post in some capacity. You guys are making yourselves look so bad. I am also the son of an extremely wealthy father. My father made his money first in medicine then in real estate. On his own, he never would have opted for the black card. His deciding factor (as I’m sure it is for many) was my mothers insistance. They have been holders since the invitation days and I could never imagine them acting in a way that would portray them in such a negative light as you have here. This leads me to beleive that the bulk of you are full of it and yourselves. They gave both my sister and myself Platinum amex cards when we left for college with the warning that we better not spend more than 10K a month and they would pay it off each month. That was ten years ago and to this day I never have. My father drives a 2002 S500 with 100k miles on it and refuses to switch, My mom gets a new Range Rover every 12 months. They own roughly 20-30 million dollars in Real Estate and are the nicest people you could ever want to meet. Just my view of things.
PS Richkid you sound like an a**hole and no amount of money is going to change that. Your parents accomplishments are not your own. If they did in fact buy you an S550 as a first car then I seriously question their thought process. This has apparently ruined you. My dad bought both my sister and I 2yr old Suburbans when we turned 16 so when our private school friends crashed into us in their BMW’s we would come out of it OK , and we have !!!!!!!!
Hey NaptownMD I appreciate your concern with my lifestyle but to justify my gift, I received a Mercedes S550 as my first car due to my exceptional success academically with an overall GPA of 98 for the 10th grade. Wealth hasn’t ruined me but simply provided me with the finer things in life that most people can’t afford. If you were more astute you would have read that my lack of humility was only an example to personify the excessive self-pride which was evident within the other posts on the web-site. By the way I haven’t crashed my Benz yet, but if I do, I’ll be sure to let u know when I purchase another one in replacement!!!!!!!!
this is by far the dumbest thing i have ever read, you are all obviously full of shit and if you’re not i think that is worse.
honestly, if you are spending millions each year and earning so much money and driving an S550, bently, range rover or any other car worth more than most homes, then why waste your time on this stupid thread?
noland nelson is in jail next to bernie madoff right now, lol. richkid, you sound like a spineless weasel. they probably had special seats made in that S550 to compensate for your lack of a backbone. it must really piss you off that both of your parents had to go to medical school for a combined 20 years just to make half of the money a decent minority basketball player makes. dont gloat about anything you have because unless your name is bill gates or warren buffet there will ALWAYS be someone that has more.
Hey Timmy, r u ready to get your ass owned pal? You already witnessed how I slaughtered the last hater. Now it’s your turn. First of all its disgraceful to see the amount of jealousy you’re directing towards a young stunner hahaah. Do you know what long-term financial prosperity is???. Are you genuinely that dull? Why don’t you consider the fact that my parents are highly-intelligent multimillionaires while you’re broke, but that’s beyond the point. The average professional basketball player can’t even add 2 plus 2. (PS- If you can’t either, the answer is 4.)How do you suppose a professional basketball player who started off in the slums will be able to control his fiscal
spending? Did you consider the fact that once they retire they simply cannot maintain the same extravagant type of lifestyle due to the lack of a continuous flow of cash. Do you live under a rock TIMMY? Have you ever heard of the name Mike Tyson? At his peak the man was worth in excess of 400 million dollars and ironically filed for bankruptcy several years later. The fact of the matter is that in spite of these athletes irrefutable wealth, years later they all end up back where they started. On the contrary my parents who both attended Ivy league colleges received the finest of education to ensure long term success both medically and financially. That’s why I can afford the finer and more lavish things in life when you can’t. By the way Tim don’t get me wrong I have nothing against the NBA. You might have actually seen me sitting courtside at the 2009 NBA Finals-hahahahah. Timmmy what’s wrong, are you maddd??? I’m not done with you bud so keep reading. Additionally, I commend greats like Bill gates and Warren Buffet. Unlike you I hold no jealousy towards anyone because if my dad felt an urge for extravagance , we could buy a Bugatti tomorrow, in cash-no problem. Do you see my point Tim. People bow down to me at school because there aren’t many people who can say that both of their parents are DOCTORS AND SELF-MADE MULTIMILLIONAIRES. Next time you open your mouth consider the consequences. Aren’t you ashamed of yourself- humiliated by a 16 year old. But if it makes you feel any better. I’m no ordinary 16 year old kid. I’m probably the smartest kid in my school and the likely valedictorian not to mention I get all the girls. Okay I proved my point so I’m gonna go back to eating my caviar. PEACE.
lol i dont know how you can get girls when its pretty evident that you like men. im not jealous of anyone, i drive a bmw 650 that i pay for myself buddy, i live in a house that i pay for myself, MY SON. and guess what, i went to public school all my life and ive been working since i was 14. if indeed you are a 16 year old kid, i can tell you right now that your future doesnt look too bright. im not worth more than your parents but i know for a fact that i have more money and assets than you personally, your mom and dad wont always be there. the fact that your mother and father are doctors mean absolutely nothing in terms of being able to handle money. they have friends that advise them. thats the reason the athletes youre talking about couldnt hold on to their money. my point was and is that you shouldnt talk about what you have and what i dont have because first of all you dont know the first thing about making money and secondly there are millions of people that have more than you.
Well first of all Tim, if there is one thing I can guarantee it is the fact that you most definitely are a middle aged man likely older than 50. Comon my man- I like men and I don’t get girls? That diss right there if you can even consider it one, undeniably revealed your age but I’ll let it slide as that point held no legitimacy. But before we change topics just consider for a second why i get girls- my appearance/looks, money, high-end fashion, popularity, brains, and power. That right there is an invisible collaboration of characteristics and we both know it! Additionally, I’m proud of you for the fact that you own a BMW, own your house, and have been working since the age 14 and I say that with no sarcasm intended whatsoever. I truly commend you for your success and wish more on you. Now that we have taken care of that topic why don’t we proceed onto my “FUTURE”. Firstly, any likely valedictorian obviously possesses the qualities to be successful. I know what it takes to be rich because I see the hours my parents put in on a day to day basis everyday of the week while they both could be retired on a yacht with millions stacked over millions in the bank.Although, that may seem arrogant or conceited its reality. They don’t do it for the money anymore, but genuinely for their passion of medicine and humanity. Furthermore, I acknowledge the fact that I can blow money at any time because of the constant flow coming in every hour, every day Tim. Although it may be challenging to digest, I do have value for money but simply understand the fact that we only have one life and might as well live it up. Let’s say worst case scenario I turn out to be an unemployed bum I could still say that I’ve experienced the things in life that everyone else is still chasing. The exotic cars, the tropical vacations, penthouse suites, finest of foods, and clothing. But Tim even if that does happen I’ll still be riding high on my inheritance and trust fund lol. But all of this is hypothetical because I control my own destiny and even though it may appear that there isn’t anymore to have for me, I wouldn’t mind a billion, but then again wouldn’t we all? HA HA HA no hate all love-believe that my friend.
Richkid:
You’re wealthy, good for you. Can’t say I’m jealous, but can’t say I’m not either. Just sat here wondering whether you’ve seen the movie The Ultimate Gift, and if you have, what did you think of it?
Sorry if my English isn’t perfect, it’s not my mother tongue (is that the correct term, btw?)
Richkid,
Your parents are self-made millionairs and you are a self-made asshole. Grab a dildo and go fuck yourself.
Oh Justin comon now, r u really that lame?? I really don’t want to humiliate you so don’t make me pal. Does it really frustrate you that much to see a 16yr old teen living the life you dreamed of? Life is good for me believe that, but in regard 2 u here’s some motivational advice. If you believe, you can achieve anything. But don’t hate just congratulate my man. You’re probably wondering why has GOD blessed this cocky bitch with such an extravagant life. U know why, because I’m blessed and I give back too!!! I myself constantly give back to others and share my wealth but when you express hate and jealousy then I can slap you up with the reality of life and where u stand and where I stand socially. But it’s all love and no hate so maybe one-day you can achieve the success that my parents have. Keep ur head in the game lil man.
I stumbled across this website when researching G5 dealerships. I must say, what a egotistic bunch you all are. A peice of black plastic doesn’t make you successful. This “Black Card” is a carrot that American Express has dangled in the vision of over-zealous, ignorant businessmen like yourselves.
hey, i know im a really small fish (we’re talkin minnow) in comparison to all you guys on here with your black cards and your 7fig or higher incomes, congrats on all that. However, I figured i would let you all know that I am training to be a pilot, and if anyone on here has a private jet that they will need a pilot for, i would be willing to fly for them. That is of course if i can not get a fighter slot in the military. I do not know how good the airline industry looks 5 or 10 years down the road, and i know this is probably a rediculous idea, but i figured I would inquire.
I work at store in a small town. Today I say my first black card.. I really had no idea what it was. I was just like man your card is heavy.. and he just smiled and went on his way.. You people that do have this a very blessed.. I hope you think god for ever amount of money you make.. And keep doing what your doing.. YOU EARNED IT
Hey guess what? I don’t have a credit card. I have a beautiful 2 story house, 3 modest cars, (honda and nissan and a hyndai) 2 motorcycles (the fiance and me), and no debt and a savings of 300,000. I also paid my way through college and work a regular 9-5 job.
I’m only 25 and am living the dream without debt. The same debt that knocked America off its feet and caused an economic crisis.
Who needs a black card again?
@Richkid
it’s so tacky that you talk down to people and desperately respond to comments on this blog in order to prove that you are rich to complete strangers. if your parents are truly ivy-league educated doctors, i could never imagine them talking like you do. if they read your posts to this thread they would probably be embarrassed by your immaturity and arrogance.
and by the way, why did you want a s550 for your first car? An SL63 or CL63 are good teenager’s cars
Many of those who post on this blog are obviously retarded and should seek professional help. However, to those who worked hard and earned their money, all my congratulations and admiration. To those who were lucky enough to inherit the result of their parents’ hard work, good for you and enjoy life. Just one thing directed at some: you should perhaps put things a bit more into perspective (and be somewhat more modest) before bragging about how your alleged millions have turned you into the Omnipotent. Take into consideration that all that money will open most doors — but not all (surprised?). I do not want to sound derogatory, but from the perspective of the few around the world who have inherited more than just money, most of you are just fish of different sizes in the same aquarium. I have no doubts that money can buy status within your own community; but I am talking true elitism — the one that money alone cannot buy, that builds upon centuries of rule and exclusive education, and that is synonymous with elegance, modesty and savoir vivre. Something that I have failed to recognize in the vast majority of posts. Having said that, I sure do enjoy the luxuries that the millions can buy — but I prefer to remain in more exclusive company (whether rich or less rich, it doesn’t really matter as long as there’s fun and pleasure) and not among hysterical types with overwhelming complexes and frustrations. Nevertheless, these posts have made me smile (just like when, in certain circles, we spot a “new rich” telling all about how he can buy the whole world and more) and I must thank you for that. Enjoy your caviar and all other things that money can buy.
For the record, I’ve been a Cent card holder since they first became available in the USA (1999? 2000?) and mine has (and always has) started with 3715, not 3717 as some people are saying. It’s a personal card, not a Business Cent as I see lots of people flaunting on here, so maybe that is the reason for the different prefix.
For the record #2 - I’ve bought many upper-end cars over the years and have never, ever, had a dealer that would accept more than $5k on Amex towards the purchase, the rest by check. Mercedes, Range Rover, you name it, I’ve always tried when I bought (hey, it’s miles and would be a cool claim) but they never, ever do.
I’d find it reaaaaly hard to believe that any dealer would take 100% of a car payment on Amex. I’d love somebody who claims to have done it to cite where they bought it from and I’ll call and verify (and report back here) if it’s true, and I’ll apologize if I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am.
I’ve had some $60k+ months of personal spend, but have never found or heard with credibility, of a dealer allowing 100% of a car purchase on Amex.
I agree with Largo above, it’s that “new money” smell that sinks up the place. I used to find it offensive, now I just think it’s kind of funny, if slightly sad.
I agree with sfbay. I also had a black card for a few years and tried to buy a car with it. The dealer would not accept anymore then 2k on the card.
i am a 17 year old kid. Im not nearly as rich any of you guys on here I come from a 6 figure income household what are some ways i can end up with the extravagant lifestyles of all you black card holders.
I have read all of these comments and am appalled by most and I must also commend for some. I am still a kid. In society’s terms. Im 18 years old. about to turn 19. I have a Amex Cent card, and I truly have it for the social representation behind it. When Im with my friends or out for a night on the town, the minute I bring that card out it seems like the party starts then. Everyone seems to flock to you. It it quite amazing to say the least. But I also am not one of those people who go over the top and brag about it. I try to keep my self rather personal. Ive always felt that it was a good trait to establish and to have.
I do agree with you all though on the platinum having better benefits and you can gain a little more money every year. the rewards on the Cent card how ever are rather nice. At-least for me and for my lifestyle they are. Now I use this card for all my expenses, when it comes to travel, dinner, clients, or personal matters. So I rack up a hefty bill, but it is definentaly something that I do not boast about. I hate paying the bill.. I mean I really!!!!1!!!111!! hate paying that bill haha. But I always do, and early usually.
Thats how I can afford all these nice things, I work hard, and ive worked extensively hard in my life to get me to where I am. So I am going to live my life the way I want and the way I can while I can. Yes I spoil my self… But who wouldn’t when they have worked for everything.
So to everyone that is striving to get things like a Amex Cent or even a Plat card, Just work hard. Never stop believing you can gain your goals and you can exceed your expectations. I mean we can all do it so can you. So get out and keep working hard, and one day you can afford to drop 200k in a month. No prob. But its all a matter of how much work you want to do in this world.
So hopefully ive inspired someone to do great things.
Nigel
in response to SFBAY, I held my first AMEX in 1991, cancelled it in 1994, and after resigning for a card a few years ago, have a Centurion card for a little while now.
I have purchased not only cars on my card, but wave runners/jet ski’s, and motorcycles as well. The reason dealers balk at the entire purchase being on the AMEX card is because of the fee % charged by AMEX to them. I believe it was over 4.5% being charged to the Nissan dealer I purchased my Nissan Titan from in 2009. Key Nissan just outside of Hilton Head Island, SC. The general manager asked me to please make a bank transfer rather than charge it to the card, and when I refused, offered to put it on the card; giving me the explination I just wrote.
There are also some things that I purchase, including meals at some restauirants, that now add a % to the bill for using a card; this making his explination even more understandable.

This intrigues me. I would be happy to post an anonymous picture here for you guys, not that I have to prove I have one since I have heretofore never boasted about having, I only just lurked. But the idea to boast in a way that can be found in a google search, to have to include your name on your card for everyone to see, AND to tell them how much you put on the card in a year (which is clearly an exaggeration given no information being able to found on this guy online), amazes me. I guess you don’t get the card to be discreet, but it is enough for me to have the little attention I get when I pay for things, which is not much attention these days. But to go out of my way to post MY card with my name on it to the world…..fascinating
